Food always tastes amazing and they make a delicious coconut mint margarita which I look forward to when coming here!
Always sit out on the patio which is peaceful and has a beautiful atmosphere.
Had a server named Jamie a couple times and he is wonderful.
Great service, friendly and attentive. All the staff are great but he always stands out!

Loved everything about this place! Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and amazing food. The fish and chips were crispy and fresh, and the burger was packed with flavor. The patio view was a bonus, and the local craft beer hit the spot. Definitely a go-to spot when in Harrison!

Went there on a Friday evening and the place was full of folks enjoying the food and the beer. We grabbed a table on the patio ( comfortably warm ) and had a great meal. The service was excellent and the meal was delicious… probably the best value for money in Harrison !

For some reason we have tended to drive right past this restaurant when visiting Harrison. However, we heard good things about it and, because of the ridiculous pay parking along the strip (reviewed separately) we decided to go here for lunch. It was great. Gluten free options for our daughter were good. All our meals were great, including the house IPA. Our server was very good. Unfortunately, I missed her name, but she has been there for 11 years, and it was obvious. Very knowledgeable, friendly, but not in your face. Would definitely go back. Popped into the liquor store next door while we were there. Good selection so we picked up a few local beers and a special one from Belgium.

My wife and I ate here and decided to come back again the following night. The prices are reasonable….especially for Harrison Hot Spings…and the servers for both nights were awesome. Food was pretty decent except my meatloaf looked more like a hamburger but our other meals were good. It has a rustic log cabin look to it with a fireplace and lots of TV screens.

Every time I visit Harrison Hot Springs, this pub is a must-stop for me. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is consistently delicious, and the staff always make you feel welcome. Highly recommend trying their authentic French onion soup. It’s rich, comforting, and absolutely worth it alongside the rest of their great menu.

I’ve gone to the Settler over a dozen times and everything has always been excellent. My favourite is the meatloaf sandwich, and the burgers and pizza are also great. Best places to eat are in the glassed-in area on summer days when they open the glass panels, and inside next to the fireplace when it’s winter.

A great pub! Visiting on family day, we were looking for some great pub food and the Old Settler Pub was perfect.

It felt and looked right and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I had the Philly Melt with a side of onion rings. The Philly Melt hit just right. The bread had an amazing crust and the beef, cheese and peppers were grilled to perfection.

I really enjoyed the onion rings. The batter was light and crispy and the rings were a good size.

If you’re looking for a good pub, this is definitely a great choice.

Loved our visit to this pub and luckily we didn’t need to book prior. The quirky interior is amazing, all wood including the bar and it has a friendly local atmosphere but still made us feel welcome with the perfect service from the friendly waitress. They have a special board including food and drink which is great value, but the overall menu left me spoilt for choice. The ribs meal was such a huge portion, with salad, veg and a baked potato – all of which was delicious. Felt very content after visiting here and shouldn’t be missed if in the area.

The Old Settler Pub absolutely exceeded my expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely amazing – full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and served in generous portions. Every bite was a delight. And the atmosphere? Just perfect – cozy, charming, and full of character. A place you definitely don’t want to miss!

This is what a pub SHOULD be. Warm, inviting, comfortable, good selection of beverages, and a menu focused on regular people favourites. Clean and cozy.
Prices are reasonable though there is a dinner menu ‘bump’ typical of this area. Staff are great. Outside patio is sheltered and inviting.
This is a thumbs up location. Back tomorrow for another episode of Real Pubs.

Well, again I had to go back to the old settler pub to have their famous chicken burger! Of course it did not disappoint. I was especially impressed today because there was a power outage and the generator had come on, but they weren’t feeling too secure about how that would work. Everybody was very professional and respectful and handled it with Grace. I was happy when I got the word that I would be able to have my burger. I live in Vancouver so it’s a special treat for me to be able to get to the old settlers pub. It’s definitely worth the few minutes into Harrison for their food. I have gone with other people over the years and everyone loves their food.
